Helen Vine
Ambulance volunteering / governance and compliance / diversity and inclusion

Helen has worked in the ambulance sector and in health and social care regulation for 20 years. She has extensive experience in both operational and strategic leadership roles, project management and compliance in the NHS and voluntary ambulance sector.

Helen has led ambulance volunteer teams operationally and strategically in the voluntary and NHS ambulance sectors and has completed strategic reviews of volunteering nationally and regionally.

With four years in the role of sector delivery lead for ambulance services at the healthcare regulator in England, Helen has extensive experience in governance, compliance and investigation.

Helen supports the national ambulance diversity and inclusion forum and has previously delivered equity, diversity and inclusion learning to the police, public and private sectors.

Helen worked for 15 years as an independent management and leadership consultant providing expertise to the private and public sectors around organisational development and cultural improvement. She currently supports the chief people officers’ group and is the event director for the annual Ambulance Leadership Forum (ALF).
